1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SeyMore ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

SeyMore is an AI-powered meeting coach that provides real-time feedback during meetings using the TPR (Task, Process, Relationships) framework. The Service includes meeting transcription, analysis, goal tracking, and email summaries. The Service is available through web and iOS applications.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Record meetings without the consent of all participants where required by law
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent activity
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to compete with SeyMore or for benchmarking purposes

5. Recording Consent

You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from all meeting participants before recording. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction. Some states and countries require all-party consent for recording conversations. SeyMore is not responsible for your compliance with recording consent laws.

6. Subscription and Payment

Plans

SeyMore offers the following plans:

  • Free: Limited to 5 meetings per month
  • Pro: $19/month for unlimited meetings and full features
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing for organizations

Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SeyMore and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your meeting content and data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content

SeyMore uses artificial intelligence to provide coaching feedback and analysis. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. The accuracy of transcriptions and analysis may vary. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEYMORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SEYMORE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SeyMore and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

14. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal@seymore.ai. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal legal action.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
